'Bull Eagle'
‘Bull Eagle’ The horns on this piece were accurately modeled using a photo of the largest elk rack ever. The horns measure over 8 feet across on my Mountain Pine copy. I made it a touch larger than the original. The head is a Mountain Pine stump with composite inlay.
The first casting of ‘Excellence’ in polychrome composite. This was done at the Bricklin Ranch, the renamed site of the Colorado mountain retreat of Elanor Roosevelt, wife of Franklin D. Roosevelt. You can see mountains in the background.
The first iteration of ‘Excellence’, shown with his girlfriend on board.
